About Us – AFS Dental Safety
Dental Practice Safety is a division of Act First Safety, occupational health and safety professionals since 2003. Dental professionals are increasingly required to ensure they are providing safe workplaces, and in 2012 Dental Practice Safety was formed to meet the specific health and safety needs of dental practices and the related fields of dentistry.
Like its parent company, Dental Practice Safety provides exceptional safety training, implementation support, information and products for its clients. We pride ourselves on developing excellent relationships with customers and on offering a personalized service that matches the ideal solutions to customer needs. Employers save time and money, and most important can be confident in the quality of their health and safety management program developed through the Dental Practice Safety Club.
As a result, employers consider us as a primary resource for training, legislation news, trends, current practices and industry information.
Our team is made up of safety professionals with extensive experience and training, including working with dental professionals. We are active members in safety organizations, including the Canadian Society of Safety Engineering and the Board of Canadian Registered Safety Professionals, and are bound by the code of ethics developed by these organizations.
