New Friends and Partners

One of the advantages of attending conferences like the recent Ontario Dental Association (ODA) Annual Spring Meeting (ASM) is meeting new people. We were thrilled to meet so many exhibitors and their employees especially those offering complementary services to Dental Practice Safety including those in marketing, manufacturers of unique dental products, distributors, brokers and agents, and more.

In our discussions, we found some common threads of experience including our overall commitment to the dental industry in providing professional services so that dentists and owners can grow their business.  Let’s face it, many of the exhibitors have been long-standing participants who continue to grow and develop new services and products.  By comparison, we are the new kid on the block and we appreciate our acceptance into the fold.

Among dentists and their staff, we find another commonality. We are all entrepreneurs with similar goals and ambitions.  Learning and adapting to the needs of the market so that we can collectively achieve greater heights in the development of our respective businesses and move the industry forward is our mission.  At the conference, we found that this focus on leadership was common among the registrants we met. So, with this thought in mind, another year at the ODA’s ASM draws to a close and we leave imagining and planning our goals to continue to develop as leaders in our respective fields.
